Janine Ellman Cifelli
Founder + CEO
Years ago, Janine was heading to warmer shorelines (Hilton Head SC) to launch her hospitality career when travel guru Bill Faber decided she was ‘on the wrong luxury hotel path,’ and convinced her to come to work for him in New York City instead. There, Jaj quickly learned the ins and outs of luxury travel sales, reservations, marketing & pr, and was soon representing properties like Necker Island, Mustique and Ulusaba Private Game Reserve. Now, 27 years later, Janine stewards her own namesake representation company; representing the best-of-the-best, most exclusive small boutique hotels and private islands in the world.
In normal times, Janine can be found circumnavigating the globe – visiting properties; out-and-about in cities across the US and Canada, meeting one-on-one with A-List travel advisors;
attending the world’s most coveted industry and client shows; and in-office, fielding inquiries, virtually educating advisors; and documenting via social media, newsletters, and journalistic-style blogging, the stories and backstories, people and places that
comprise their collection.

Michele McGinley

A born-and-raised Jersey Shore girl, Michele oversees all of JCR’s sales appointments, agent receptions, and events with precision. Her career began in the bustling streets of New York City, where she honed her skills in travel marketing and public relations. Michele has represented accounts such as the Turks and Caicos Tourist Board, Elegant Resorts of Barbados, The Empire Hotel, the Virginia Hotel, and the Maidstone Arms, showcasing her knack for fostering connections and delivering exceptional service.
Sarah Ranfone
Director of Sales &
Director of Agency Partnerships
After spending 12 years in Santiago, Chile, Sarah returned to her home town of Arlington, Virginia. She brings over 7 years of experience in luxury hospitality, including her time with Tierra Hotels—one of Chile’s most iconic adventure-luxury brands. While there, she focused on sales and partnerships, working closely with top travel advisors and deepening her understanding of bespoke travel experiences. During her tenure, Sarah also collaborated with Janine through JCR’s representation of Tierra, which sparked her appreciation for the power of strong industry relationships.
Adrian Serrentino
Director of Sales
With roots that from the Pacific Coast to the English countryside, Adrian brings a global perspective and hospitality experience to his role. Born in Ecuador and raised in the UK, but began his career in Singapore. Travel led him back to Ecuador to reconnect with family—a visit that turned into a new chapter. He later joined Pikaia Lodge in the Galapagos Islands as Director of Sales & Marketing, where he spent 7 years growing key international markets. Adrian is passionate about building meaningful connections and sharing incredible experiences.
Romi Hansen
Sales Manager & Inside Sales
Romi brings over 30 years in the sales industry.
She began her career in healthcare, where she developed a deep understanding of client needs. Romi then transitioned into the education sector, further broadening her expertise and building a strong foundation in relationship management. At JCR, she leverages her extensive background to excel in inside sales and lead special projects.
Adyson Dinatale
Sales Manager
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Adyson’s passion for travel was ignited during her time studying abroad in Florence, Italy—a transformative experience that inspired her to make travel a central part of her career. She began her professional journey in Italy, selling and guiding tours across Europe, and later transitioned to the luxury travel industry after moving to Denver. Adyson brings her love of connecting with people and immersing herself in new cultures to her role and fostering meaningful relationships.
